Hemostasis and Thrombosis Nursing Association

Launching Soon: The premier professional destination for nurses and advanced practice providers who specialize in bleeding and clotting disorders.

Who We Are

For decades, nurses have stood at the forefront of care for patients with hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, and rare clotting and platelet disorders. We are educators, advocates, researchers, and clinical leaders within Hemophilia Treatment Centers and beyond. Until now, our specialty has never had its own dedicated professional organization. HTNA was founded to change that.

Our Mission

To empower, connect, and advance nurses and advanced practice providers in hemostasis and thrombosis through education, certification, mentorship, and advocacy ultimately transforming patient care across the lifespan.
